Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m so happy that you’re here! I've shared my story here

For most of us, and that includes me, lunch is often a sandwich eaten on the go or, worse still, something skipped altogether. Work often makes it hard to eat a healthy lunch – especially when you have a lot to do. A healthy lunch can help you feel full up until dinner time, stop you from eating unhealthy snacks, make sure you have enough energy to exercise after work, and provide your body with some essential nutrients too. Using meal replacement shakes is a good way to lose weight, burn fat, and get healthy. It’s really very simple; just replace your largest meal of the day with a low-calorie meal replacement shake and you will create a calorie deficit which will result in weight loss. There is no need to count calories, make special meals, or do anything crazy like exercise for hours every day – just replace one meal a day with a low calorie shake and lose weight. Since then I have been more focused on what I eat and my workouts; I run at least twice a week. For those who can’t or don’t like run, I recommend a nice 45-minute walk. Healthy eating and regular exercise quickly became my fitness routine and it has been working perfectly. Tiredness, back pain, insomnia, and headaches have all disappeared. But, and I have to be honest,…

Fat gets almost all the bad press but it’s actually sugar that presents the greatest danger to your health. However, before you start throwing out fruit (which contains sugar), it’s important to understand that there is a HUGE difference between natural sugars and added sugars. They both contain the same number of calories but, in terms of nutrition, they are worlds apart. Natural sugars, as their name suggests, occur naturally in the foods we eat. Fruit contains fructose – a type…

It’s a fact; eating too much sugar is bad for you. Recent research has revealed that it’s sugar and not fat that presents the greatest risk to your health. Sugar is addictive, interferes with blood glucose and insulin levels, does not satiate hunger, is toxic, and also causes systemic inflammation which can trigger a wide variety of diseases including: Heart disease Diabetes Cancer Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease Hyperactivity Mood swings Depression All in all, sugar is something we need to eat much less of. While this might sound simple, avoiding sugar is much harder than it sounds because so…

Nutrition is a complicated subject although many people attempt to oversimplify it by saying things like “eat less fat as all fats are bad” and, more recently, “eat less sugar as all sugar is unhealthy”. What’s the difference ? The trouble is, there is more than one type of fat and eliminating all fats can be just as unhealthy as eating all fats with abandon. Learn about “How to Choose Healthy Fats”. Similarly, there is more than one type of sugar and, because they behave differently in your body, there is absolutely no need to eliminate ALL sugar. For health…
