Years ago I bought my first hydration pack (Baen Sendimy, 1st suggestion) to help me stay hydrated while hiking and with my hands-free, so I could more easily balance in rough paths.
Today I use the CamelBak (my 3rd suggestion) and the other day I was thinking how much money and time I’ve saved from not buying plastic water bottles every time I go for a hike. And in terms of Ecological Footprint, it’s a great way to reduce plastic.
