    The Best Acupressure Mats

    0
By Sarah on November 30, 2017 The Best

I’ve tried a few different acupressure mats, but my favorite and the one I bought and use is the Nayoya Acupressure Mat. I like this mat because it represents great value for money, it’s comfortable to use, it’s well-made, and should last for years.

I also really like the Spoonk Cotton Pagoda Blue Acupressure Massage Mat. However, at almost twice the price, I decided to go for the cheaper Nayoya product which, in my opinion, is every bit as good.

If you aren’t sure which product is right for you, please scroll down and read what I have to say about each product.

    The Nayoya Acupressure Mat

    available at amazon.com

When I first saw my Nayoya acupressure mat, I thought it looked like a good quality product. Green in color, and covered with over 6000 acupressure points, it’s well made and looks like it will last a lifetime. Available at Amazon.com.

It’s super easy to use and requires no setup; you just unroll it and lie on it. You can also sit or stand on it to treat a variety of medical issues. Standing on it is said to relieve headaches for example.

The mat itself is foam with a removable cover which makes it easy to clean. It’s also really light and portable so you can take it with you to work, on vacation, or anywhere else you might go. It doesn’t come with a bag, but you can easily roll it up and pop it onto a spare pillowcase to make it easy to transport.

The Nayoya Acupressure Mat is really good value, and you can buy one from Amazon.com for only $29.47. At that price, you could buy two – one for work and one for home, which is exactly what I have done so I’m never without my new favorite back pain reliever!

Out of over 700 reviews, this product gets an excellent 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon, with most users saying how much they enjoy and benefit from using their Nayoya Acupressure Mat.

The Spoonk Cotton Pagoda Blue Acupressure Mat

    Available at Amazon.com

Spoonk might be a funny name, but this is no funny product. Made from cotton and with its own carry case, this is a high-quality acupressure mat, and that’s reflected in the price tag. Costing $47.77 (at Amazon.com) – considerably more than the Nayoya – this mat looks and feels great, and has been featured on the world-famous Dr. Oz show.

Like the other acupressure mat I tested, you can separate the foam pad from the outer case for easy cleaning. It’s also very light and portable.

I liked this mat a lot but, as good as it is, for me it wasn’t worth the extra cost as, as far as I could tell, the only difference was it was made from eco cotton and came with a carry bag. Using it, it felt the same and produced the same results.

However, if you want to support the environment, this product is more “green” as it’s made from cotton and plant-based eco-foam, which is better for the planet. This makes it hypoallergenic – an important consideration for those with allergies. It also has a five-year warranty and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Amazon.com users have given this product 4.5 out of 5 stars, making it a very well-reviewed item.

Which one is right for you?

If you are looking for a cost-effective acupressure mat, the Nayoyo Acupressure Mat, Available at Amazon.com, is almost unbeatable. It’s basic and no-frills, but that is reflected in the very low price. It will work just as well as more expensive models and is the one I personally recommend and use. It’s cheap enough that you can buy two – one for home use and one for leaving at work.

    Summary:

    • Great value for money
    • No frills
    • The one I recommend

In contrast, if you are looking for a hypoallergenic, eco-friendly option, and don’t mind spending a bit more money, the Spoonk Acupressure Mat and Carry Case, Available at Amazon.com, is an excellent choice. It’s just as good as the cheaper Nayoyo mat, but you are definitely paying more for the fact it’s a “green” product. By green, I mean ecologically friendly, and not just the color!

    Summary:

    • Environmentally friendly, made from cotton and plant-based eco-foam
    • Comes with a carry bag
    • More expensive

Which one is right for you? If you have allergies or want the eco-friendliest option, choose the Spoonk. However, if you just want a good value and effective acupressure mat, the Nayoya is a perfect choice.
