These savory turkey and avocado toasts are high in protein and healthy fats and will definitely hit the spot! No matter what time you eat them, you’ll find that they are filling, tasty and satisfying. The combination of protein and healthy fats help to stabilize your blood glucose levels and really help stop hunger it its tracks. This is one of my favorite ready-in-minutes snacks. I have found this recipe at the very known blog called BBC Food Blog and I make sure I always have the ingredients on my shopping list.

Ingredients – One serving
½ avocado, flesh only
Juice of ½ a lime
2-3 small slices ciabatta bread
50 grams turkey slices
Ground black pepper
2-3 cherry tomatoes, halved
Chili flakes – optional
Method
Mash the avocado with the lime juice in a bowl until you form a smooth paste. Toast the ciabatta and then spread with mashed avocado. Top with turkey and finish with ground black pepper. Eat while still warm. Garnish with a few cherry tomatoes to pump up the nutritional content of this great-tasting snack. I love to spice this snack up with a hearty sprinkling of dried chili flakes. Try it – you’ll love them too!
