    Cabbage, Cucumber, and Mango Juice

    1
By Sarah on July 19, 2018 Breakfast, Juice

I am one of those unfortunate people who can’t get anything done unless I have a decent breakfast in the morning. For many years that meant a bowl of cereal. However, after some investigation into the main ingredients in most cereals (refined wheat and added sugar) I came to realize that what I thought was a healthy breakfast was anything but!

With most breakfast cereals off my healthy eating menu, I made the switch to eating oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal is much more natural but, because you eat it hot, it’s not so good for summertime. It is, however, very filling and loaded with fiber which makes it a good choice in the wintertime.

Eggs are a good breakfast choice too. High in protein and healthy fats, as well as vitamins and minerals, a couple of eggs are a really good way to start your day.

But, in my opinion, the best breakfast (both in terms of health and ease) is juice. I don’t mean commercially-produced juices that are made from concentrate, but homemade juices that contain both fruit and vegetables. Quick to make, super-healthy, filling, and delicious, homemade juices are awesome.

This is one of my favorite juice recipes.

    Preparation time: 5 minutes

    Cooking time: N/A

    Number of servings: One

    Ingredients

    • ¼ dark leaf cabbage
    • 3 sprigs of parsley
    • 2 large spinach leaves
    • 1 medium cucumber
    • 1 mango, peeled

    Instructions

    1. Wash all the ingredients thoroughly and then pop them in your juicer.

    2. Using your juicer according to the manufacturer’s instructions, juice the ingredients and then enjoy!

The juice is an unexpectedly refreshing blend that revitalizes the taste buds and boosts energy levels. The unique combination of cabbage’s earthy undertones, cucumber’s crisp freshness, and mango’s sweet tanginess creates a symphony of flavors that delights the palate. Each sip is a burst of vitamins and antioxidants, promoting wellness from within. This innovative concoction is not only delicious but also a nourishing choice for those seeking a healthy and revitalizing beverage option. Cheers to a delightful fusion of nature’s goodness!
