The most frequent questions I get are regarding the 21 day fix workout, our complete guide here. Those are mostly doubts about the workouts, the diet plan, the efficiency of the program, how the containers work, how much time you need, what you can/can’t eat, shakeology alternatives, protein shakes ideas, approved recipes, etc.
Naturally, we all want to do an informed decision before purchasing any product and I totally support it and that’s why I publish all the information I know regarding this and other fitness products. That’s why today I’m writing this post.

21 Day Fixers Reviews
John A. Harrigan
The 21 Day Fix came as a recommendation from my wife and lets just say I was not convinced. That didn’t stop her from buying it for me! Getting over the less then subtle message my wife was sending me, I decided to try it out for her sake. After all, at 49 I am far less active then I used to be and I can feel that fat creeping up on me.
Following the instructions, I carefully walked myself through the process. In particular, two things stood out for me. First was the containers. With so many options for food storage, I was able to make several different things and design meals that worked specifically for me. I know, I might have gone a little off the reservation by thinking creative, but it definitely helped me stay on goal. The second thing that I really liked were the recipes. Simply put, I need options when it comes to food and these recipes helped satisfy my constant need to try new things. While it took some getting used to, I found myself pretty into it after about a week.
So what were the results? Well, lets just say that my wife will never live this one down. I managed to lose 14 pounds within that time, and as a result I feel a bit better overall. Having gotten me into a healthy kick, I’ve taken the opportunity to expand beyond 21 Day Fix. While I am no longer using it, I credit with helping me get healthier and strongly believe that it is worth every star and dollar. That being said, the 21 Day Fix is only as good as the person using it, and from my experience motivation is essential.
“Getting Ready for Bikini Season”
By Laurie Nelson
I have been trying for months to get to my ideal bikini body weight. I have tried dieting, including all the extreme ones, and exercising each day. But unfortunately none of it worked. It was all either too complicated or simply didn’t fit my daily schedule. So sadly I bought a single piece swimsuit and a pair of shorts for the summer this year. My husband thinks I am crazy but I have decided to give one more diet a chance and I chose the 21 day fix.
The goal I set for myself was to fit into a bikini for next summer and it will provide the beachbody program plenty of time to work. It has now been the full 21 days of this program and I am already down 5.5 inches around the waist and feeling great. I intend to continue this healthy living diet to continue to lose the weight that I want as well as continue to prevent from regaining the weight I have already lost. I am feeling better about myself each and every day as well as feeling better with the new diet that has been taught to me by this system.

I’m not that interested in diet resources. There was something about Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix that really got my attention. Being 34 years old, I have struggled with my weight for some time and was hoping to find a solution through this.
What really ruined the 21 Day Fix for me was the ads and advertising. The fact that they kept advertising beachbody products during the video made me really reconsider my purchase and has led to my 1 star rating. That is not to say that I didn’t like everything this program had to offer. For example, I personally loved the commercial as well as the promotional materials. Being serious about losing weight, I was hoping this could be a part of my journey towards health. Sadly, I just can’t get over the product placement and as a result I can’t see myself using this. In short, the product placement makes it seem like the only point is to purchase more things, instead of being healthy.
I would be far more willing to go with the 21 Day Fix if it cut down on the self-advertising and instead focused on what I guess every person wants, a way to directly handle their weight-loss. By completely removing the advertisements, other people might also see this as less spammy and more about the content. Again for me it was just too much. While I am generally un-inclined to give something a 1 star rating, in my opinion the 21 Day Fix completely fell flat, leaving me with less money and less interest in the product as a result. My only hope is that other people were less bothered by this and have found a way to use 21 Day Fix to better help them lose weight.

I want to tell everyone about this beachbody program. Not only has it worked for me, earning it 5 stars, but I don’t have to starve myself every day or attempt some crazy exercise program that makes me want to puke. Other programs have made me sick from over exertion, starved from the lack of nutrients and portion sizes, and have been too expensive to complete. The 21 day fix has an easy regimen and amazing recipes while remaining budget friendly. Plus I can eat anything in the recipe book that comes with the program, with so many options I want to try them all. I never thought that after having 2 kids I would feel this good and be able to fit into my old clothes again. Now I feel like I can not only get into my favorite jeans but even lose more.

If you are looking for a diet plan that actually tastes good and provides you with a variety of options to help you lose weight, then you may want to try this. I admit, at first I thought it was all a hoax until I started looking into the 21 day fix recipes. I enjoy cooking just as much as I enjoy eating, which is probably why I gained so much weight, but knowing that I don’t have to eat cardboard and air to lose weight is one of the best things I have ever done.
I have found that cooking some of the recipes for the 21 day fix diet is just as fun as cooking many of my other favorite foods. As I looked through the recipes for this “diet” I began to find the motivation to try new foods that are healthier for me and started using the recipes 3 times a day just to keep trying new things. After about two weeks I noticed I was losing weight quickly simply because I was eating healthier without ever truly realizing it. This is not a gimmick to get your money but a way to help you change your lifestyle to something healthier.
“Had some success with the 21 Day Fix“

In general, I liked the 21 Day Fix. It worked for me and wasn’t too challenging to figure out or follow.
Only recently when I retired did I have the time to even consider normal meals. Having worked as a mobile equipment manager outside of Hattiesburg, I never had a schedule that was routine enough. More often then not I would be running out of the house, responding to an emergency or helping someone get work done. Lets just say I ate poorly.
Retirement was like learning a whole new set of skills. While it may be funny to say, learning how to feed myself and eat right was near the top of my list. A former client recommended 21 Day Fix and on a whim I decided to try it. As I said above, it ended up working very well for me.
In particular, I enjoyed the home workouts. Being a little overweight, I don’t like the idea of stretching and strutting myself in public, and being able to do this all at home was nice. There was enough variation to keep me interested. In addition, I believe that any successful diet has to include some exercise, and the 21 Day Fix delivered. I think I might be a bit older then the average customer, but I still didn’t have any problems with it.
I also liked the recipes as well as the containers. It made me think about what I was eating. Before I would more often then not do diner food, and making the switch has resulted in a far better diet. Along with losing more then 12 pounds, I feel like I have more energy. The best part is how much money I am saving by not eating out!

I am a mother of an active 2 year old little girl and a stay at home mom. This program deserves 4 stars for ease of use and simplicity, however finding the time to perform the home workout routines is hard with a toddler in the house. Many of the routines aren’t exactly easy to do when you have a 2 year old clinging to your leg or jumping next to you. However the yoga is my favorite as it is easy enough to do even when she is bouncing around. The meal plans are also easy and many of the recipes are family friendly. Even my daughter eats most of them, however occasionally she opts for macaroni and cheese or chicken nuggets over the recipe I have chosen for the night. The weight is melting away and I even have more energy than before!

There are so many things that I like about the 21 day fix diet and exercise regimen that have not only helped me to lose the full 15 lb. that I had set for myself as a goal. Like many other people who have wanted to lose weight, I looked to dieting and exercise plans to help that were sponsored or supported by known nutritionists and fitness gurus. However many of these gimmicky plans didn’t work and left me with less money and wishing I hadn’t wasted my time. Then I began researching the 21 day plan that seemed to work for so many other people.
The home workout plan is better than many of the other dieting and exercise plans on the market today and leave me with more time to put towards other things. The 30 minutes I spend per day on my exercises with this diet have done so much more than the other fitness videos that I have bought. It is no wonder this stuff works. With each energetic workout giving me a bit of diversity to my daily routine, and shaking things up a bit, I feel excited to work out to these videos.

I just have to say that the containers for the 21 day fix earn this diet a 5 star rating and two-thumbs-up. Not only have I been eating less and losing weight, but I feel better than I ever have knowing that I am eating what I need and not everything in sight. I also enjoy that this program doesn’t limit what you can and cannot eat. If I want something and it fits in the Tupperware, then I can eat it without feeling guilty.
I admit it can be a little tough at first, but once you start packing meals into these little bowls you will be wishing life worked more like this. I have already lost 10 pounds and I am only a week away from the full 21 days. I cannot wait to reach my goal weight and continue this program forever.

If you have ever tried Shakeology, you would know that it is a true lifestyle change. However it is incredibly expensive and costs a lot of money to do. While this is a successful and effective way to lose weight, the 21 day fix offers a better solution with their Shakeology alternatives. The protein shakes are not only as effective as Shakeology’s, but taste even better. Plus they don’t cost you the excessive amount of money that Shakeology charges for their products or services so you can lose weight and keep it off.
However there is a downfall to the whole master plan of shakes to lose weight. While they can be tasty, they take quite a bit of time to get used to and sometimes it is easy to forget to make them when you first get started. There are plenty of diets and weight loss guides out there that are slightly easier to follow, even if they aren’t the fastest or most effective, I have also found that some products are easier to remember and adjust to when you are just getting your weight loss off the ground and starting to get into shape.

If you have been looking for a workout program that will keep you invigorated and interested, then you should check out the 21 day fix. I give it 4 stars for the entire program including the workouts and meal plans. The only reason I chose to deduct a star is because of the constant change in workout lessons. I am trying to follow the system to the letter to ensure best results, but the constant change doesn’t provide me the time to concentrate on a particular exercise or routine.
While I have already lost 6 pounds by following this dieting system, I am a person of habit and while the constant change in exercises is bothersome, it does keep things interesting. I love the system, but I wish there was a way to follow the system and concentrate on a particular exercise session rather than changing all the time.
“Loved the 21 Day Fix Containers & Meal Plan”
By: Maria Rodriguez
I had seen advertisements on television for the 21 day fix meal plan and fitness plans, but never thought it would work. When I saw the 21 day fix containers for sale online, I thought “Why not?” So I purchased them and found that I was not only feeling better, but due to the containers helping me with my portion control, I was actually losing weight. I have tried dozens of diets and would only lose a couple of pounds here and there, then would begin to gain weight instead of losing it. But now that I have begun truly measuring out my meals with these containers and eating healthier, the weight seems to be melting away on its own.
Even though I was skeptical at first, I honestly think I feel better than I did before when I would eat a meal. I used to feel bloated and overstuffed. Now I feel more comfortable after I eat and I know that my portion sizes are more appropriate seeing as the amounts I was eating before were much larger. Even though getting started is a little tough, I think everyone should try these containers.
“Best Home Workout Plan Ever!”
By Jody Lee
When I first heard of the 21 day fix, I thought “What a joke!” but my best friend wanted to try it to get ready for the new school year. Everyone says that during your freshman year of collage you will gain a whole lot of weight, and they weren’t kidding. I gained 40 pounds my freshman year and began to feel overly self-conscious. My friend asked if I would join her in trying this diet and, of course, I couldn’t say no. And I am glad that I didn’t.
This program has the best home workout plan ever and I am able to easily fit it in between classes to keep losing weight. Within the first 21 days I lost 23 pounds and I keep on losing more. The only problem is the portion control system is extremely hard to follow since I am in collage and I can’t carry all the containers with me when I am at school. I generally take just one with a snack for the middle of the day, but that isn’t how the system is supposed to work. I am sure I would lose more weight if not for the lack of space in my bag and not being able to carry the containers with me.

Definitely deserves 5 stars! My first diet aid and boy did it work!
I’ve never given much thought to losing weight. Actually, I never really thought about my body at all. However, when I hit 40 and was 159.3 pounds at a whopping 5 foot 1 inch in height, I decided that now was time for a change. I checked online for a while looking through various diets and wasn’t satisfied with anything. I was about to give up when I found Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix – Essential Package.
What drew me to the 21 Day Fix was the short timeline, the direct and clear goals, and most importantly the color coded containers. Call me crazy, but I loved being able to separate everything out. It helped give me a better understanding of what I was eating and helped me to slow down the eating process. I realized a lot of poor habits thanks to the 21 Day Fix, and I believe that is one of the reasons I had so much success with this diet.
Another thing I really enjoyed was the calendar meal plan. With the meal plan I was better able to plan and anticipate what I was going to eat, making meal time in general easier. I never paid much attention to this before and doing so now helped focus my energy on something.
In the end, I went for nearly 2 months and managed to lose a bit more then the 15 pounds suggested. I think it was a combination of the techniques offered in this product as well as the lessons I learned while doing it.
Either way, I happily give it 5 stars and would recommend it to other people who are looking for a way to start dieting or simply lose some weight.

There are hundreds of diets out there to help you lose weight and when I saw this plan, I honestly thought it was a bunch of junk like the rest. Then my sister began trying out the workout routines as well as the diet regiment that comes with the 21 day fix. At first I shook my head thinking she was crazy trying some ‘seen on TV’ trash. She started out at 180 lb. and began to actually lose weight. So I decided to give it a go.
The first day of the diet plan was tough and it felt like someone was going to tell me what I could and could not eat. Over time I began to realize that with the workout and the meal plan combined I was losing weight too. My only disappointment is the continuous change in exercise routines since you change just as you begin to get used to the previous routine. I get the concept and it is a lot of fun, but the ever changing workout doesn’t allow you to really master any of the routines and improve your form on any of the exercises provided.
“Shakeology Has Nothing on This”
By Becky Louis
For those who haven’t tried Shakeology, it is expensive and can be a pain to follow when you live an incredibly busy lifestyle. However I have to give the Shakeology substitute for the 21 day fix a 4 star rating. While you aren’t exactly required to use the shakeology portion of this diet, it is far less expensive and I have found that by making the majority of the shakes the night before, I have better luck following the program.
The only reason I deduct a star for the 21 day fix is because they suggest you use a ‘top shelf’ protein powder for your shakes rather than skipping the powder all together. I love this diet system and it works, but why protein powder, why not skip it and create tasty shakes without it. They say it helps with the weight loss, but the powder is pricey.
“I Highly Recommend This Product”
Paul N. Bui
I’m an optimist. Or at least, I try to be with most things. When I saw Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix – Essential Package on Amazon, I thought, “why not?” I’ve had some stubborn weight that I’ve been trying to get rid of but not really working that hard to remove. So, I bought the entire essential package. Lets just say 21 Day Fix works well with my optimism!
The 5 star review has been earned several times. First was the shipping. While I had read about some people experiencing slow shipping, I got mine very quickly. It came with everything included, and following the instructions was a peace of cake.
After reading through the instructional material, I started to better understand what and when I was eating. The 21 day fix diet plan helped make me aware of just how much food I was eating before, and how by cutting some of it out I didn’t experience any hunger or cravings.
I found the results to be impressive. I lost the weight in the amount of time given, which frankly I didn’t think could be possible. If you are on the fence with this, then you should consider it. It has helped me lose 15 pounds and in general has made me more aware of what I put in my mouth. Now granted, all of this is coming from the mouth of a self-proclaimed optimist. That being said, results are equally as important and I found results by following the 21 Day Fix. Now with that out of the way, there wasn’t anything that stood out or that I disliked about it. Rather, it did what it said it was going to do, and by following it I lost the weight as advertised.
Great!
By Jillian Samuels
I give the 21 day fix a solid 4 stars for a few reasons. First, the portion control containers are absolutely genius. Not only do they make measuring out food easy, but they fit beautifully into a large lunch box so I can take them to work. Second the meal plan is great as it is incredibly realistic. Of course eating like a sparrow isn’t going to cause you to lose weight, and this diet doesn’t expect that of you at all. Finally, the workouts are simple to follow and are incredibly energizing once you get the hang of them.
However I had one problem. There aren’t enough containers. I have to constantly wash the containers out just to use them. I could by more, but why don’t they give you enough for more than a single meal rather than a day’s worth.

Let me start right off the bat by saying that I really liked Autumn Calabrese’s 21 Day Fix – Essential Package. I give it a solid 4 stars because while I feel like it did an excellent job, it left some things wanting. Let me explain.
For me, the 21 Day Fix worked best in helping me to create a schedule and plan around losing weight. I had a wedding I was a bridesmaid for and I thought that losing the weight would be a fun challenge (along of course with being healthy!) with so much material in the box, it took me some time to figure everything out and find a comfortable way for me to fit everything into my life.
The meal pans were my favorite part. Along with a range of recipes to choose from, I appreciated taking the time to choose what I was going to eat, watching the very real difference that came with being so selective. While I did not meet the 15 pound loss advertised, it did help slim me down a bit and for that I can’t fault it. I also like the containers and found them to be useful in tracking the amount that I would eat.
The reason why I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is that I followed everything as recommended and even went the extra step to ensure that I did everything right. I even walked more on my own and continued after the wedding. Despite that, I still only lost around 10 pounds. While I understand that not weight loss aid works for everyone the same, there was very little that addressed this in all the material given. As a result, I can’t help but feel that I got everything that I paid for.
By Ally Stevens
Who would have ever thought they would find a way to create a diet that normal, everyday people can follow? I sure as heck didn’t, but the 21 day fit diet plan has honestly changed my life. I saw it on television one day while surfing through channels and had to stop to see what they fuss was all about. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing at first, then I decided I would go ahead and try it.
I lost 14 pounds in the 21 day period. That is more than I have ever lost. All I needed to do was complete the 30 minute workouts each day and portion out my meals in a healthy manner. Not only that, but they provide excellent recipes that are simple to make and easy on your budget. I give this plan 5 stars, amazing.
“A Strong Contender For Top Weight-Loss Aid”

With 70 years on this earth, I’ve seen a lot of diet fads come and go. Sadly, the one thing that would never seem to go was the excess fat around my stomach. I’ve had a number of doctors tell me that getting rid of this fat was important for my health, but despite my best attempts, I was never able to fully shed the weight. Recommended by a friend I decided to try 21 Day Fix.
Simply put, I had a lot of success with it. While it took me a little while to adjust to things like protein powder (this is the first time I’ve ever tried using dietary supplements) I am amazed by the results. Again, I was skeptical as to the claims and having seen so many different diets turn our as failures I was not expecting much.
However, the one thing I did for myself, and I suggest you do it too, is to focus and follow the instructions given. While this lead to me purchasing a few more things, I made use of the shakeology alternatives to make more varied meals. In general, it was a fun learning experience.
More to the point however it was also helpful in helping me shed the weight. While I still have some fat around stomach, it has been greatly reduced and I am hopeful that by following this for some more time I will be able to get the full range of affects.
The only thing that I criticize 21 Day Fix for, and the reason why I gave it a 4 star review, was that it was a challenge to figure out and I didn’t realize at first that I would have to buy some additional things in order to fully make use of the system as intended.

Hi there,
I was wondering if you have heard of the protein powder “Naked Whey” and would consider this a shakeology alternative? A friend of mine suggested it, I purchased it, but haven’t tried it as I’m worried of gaining weight with it. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi Tiffany. You mean this Naked Whey ? This is a very good product but it’s not designed as a meal replacement shake, so it’s not a shakeology alternative. But you can use it to do your own homemade meal replacement shakes. You’ll need to add healthy fats, nutrients and vitamins. I’ve shared an article on how to do homemade shakes that you can check “Create your own meal replacement shakes”.
