Chocolate, bananas, and peanut butter together? Oh my – what a combination! This is one of my favorite desserts and I’m pretty sure that, when you taste it, it’ll soon be one of yours too. It’s so easy to make that even if you can’t cook, you’ll have no problem putting this together. This chocolate ready-to-serve treat is made out of a banana base (not cream), so there’s no guilt. Top with mini chocolate chips for a sundae treat.
Ingredients – serves 3/makes 1 ½ pints
½ cup plain Greek yogurt
4 frozen bananas
¼ cup maple syrup – use agave syrup if you want a lower sugar option
⅓ cup cocoa powder – no added sugar
2 tablespoons no-added sugar natural peanut butter
Method
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a blender and blend until thick and creamy. The blender I use here.
2. Spoon in the peanut butter and pulse 2 to 3 times until fully mixed.
3. Serve immediately.
